Our Mission
To provide reliable, good quality water to rural homes and businesses.
History
Northwest Rural Water District began in 1974 when rural residents decided they wanted good quality water in their homes. They began collecting signatures, creating a board of directors and applying for funding. Pipe started being installed in 1978 with approximately 400 accounts. Today there are over 2,000 accounts being served by the District.
Northwest Rural Water District is governed by a Board of Directors as
voted on by the members of the District every year at our Annual
Meetings which are held in March. There is a Manager, Assistant Manager,
Office Manager, Administrative Assistants and Field Operators that help
maintain the system and keep it running smoothly.
