How to setup service with Northwest Rural Water District
Fill out an
application
and pay the application fee either by stopping by the office or
downloading PDF
off of this website.
Once the application is received it may take 2-4 weeks to process and receive approval or denial. The customer will receive an approval letter with all the requirements and what to do next or the denial letter and the reason for the denial.
Complete the official paperwork and pay the hookup fee
Engage licensed approved contractor and plumber install water line and meter.

Northwest Rural Water District's water source is the Western Area Water Supply which obtains its water from the Missouri River. The Water Treatment Plant is located on the north bank of the Missouri River near the Lewis & Clark Bridge on Highway 85.
Northwest Rural Water District works around the clock to provide top quality water to every tap. We ask that all our customers help us protect our water sources, which are the heart of our community, our way of life and our children’s future.
